"A therapist told me she was going to call dcfs on me Cause I told my daughter let's go and got my daughters hand and walked away from her. The same therapist said my daughter needs to be with a black family. She still works there. 1 psychiatrist left another took over the case. She said all the clients are over meditated. She stop 1 medicine the 1st time I talked to her. She should of lower the dose little by little. With draws were real bad . Of course they done care they don't deal with them. I called the crisis hotline. A couple time I was told call 911. I was told the last time I called I said I would take my child to centinela hospital. No I didn't say that. Centinela hospital doesn't have a psychiatrist ward. .my child was diagnosed with zeveral things for years on meds. All of a suddened she doesn't have them. She's still on the medicines. Explain that ?"
"I have been to therapist and psychiatrist with my private insurance years ago that treated me HORRIBLY. I was hesitant to come to any Doctor especially under Medi-cal, but I have to say this is the best care I've ever recieved. The way they support their patients no matter what is a relieving experience. I have not experienced alltheir services but they offer a big variety. It's a great place to find help."
"Was referred for services by DMH. After some time this agency tried to convince me to switch to an agency closer to my home being this agency is SPA 8 and I lived on the border of SPA 7 and 8. I never complained or mentioned I had a problem traveling to psychiatric appointments there. They continued to make excuses why I should change agencies not caring about rapport that was built between my child and the therapist. Shouldn't have taken this referral if the therapist did not want to travel. After I was informed they no longer traveled based on the program my child was in. Was a bunch of lies. Clinical Supervisors and therapist do not care about quality of care or there clients. Therapist never said hello when arriving to my home, and never provided an update of progress unless I asked and sometimes I couldn't ask because the therapist would leave without saying good bye. This agency definitely needs to work on being culturally sensitive, family friendly and including parents on how they can support as well. Was not what I expected. Got to go through some bad ones to get to the good ones. Will not go back there again in the future if needed."
