"My son had a very bad allergic reaction last night. In such a panic I arrived and hoping for a quick response and was so relieved to receive such quick and careful treatment for my son I quickly noticed the staff doing they're best to deal multiple situations all at the same time but by me trying my best to stay calm and provide them with what they needed in order to properly treat my son was what made my experience very smooth and I have to add that our transitioned our experience from good to blessed and I am so thankful for them may God bless this hospital."

"This review is a year too late and I’m only writing this for the harass calls/text i am receiving. I took, my then 1 year old child to this hospital, since it was in my area at the time. I went with her for a rash, some sort of allergic reaction to God knows what, she had a little fever, as I checked before leaving the house. Once we had arrived at the hospital it took me about 15-20 minutes to look for parking, parking is really small. Finally found something, so I rushed inside and told the nurse what was happening, they handed me a form to fill out, at this point I was already in there for two minutes. They called my name, boy I did not see the next thing happened: protocol would be take my child’s vitals, weight? Maybe all that good stuff they do at the pediatricians, I assumed, but they didn’t. A doctor approaches me and says, “ you gave her Tylenol didn’t you?” I was confused, why would he assume that’s what it was without checking her, guess? Did a doctor just guess what my daughters diagnosis? Now I’m told to wait outside, this lovely nurse calls me and gives me a prescription? How? You didn’t check her vitals, the doctor was about two feet’s away from us when we talked, and I had my daughter covered, how are you going to prescribe her something without the proper check. I was in there for 10 minutes tops, it took longer to look for parking lol I went to my pediatrician the next day, since her allergic reaction was healing, I took pictures, showed him and we talked about what she ate that day, I also showed him the prescription the Doctor gave me at GMH, he asked me if I had bought it for her, I told my pediatrician no, I had a hard time finding it. He said, “GOOD, that medicine is not good for babies her age, grown ups can’t tolerate them, now imagine a baby?” I was mad, stop calling me please."

"Super nice medical staff took great care of my Mother in law. She was there for 5 days from December 25, 2023- December 30, 2023. She had pneumonia. They treated her with antibiotics, Lasix, and gave her oxygen tank when she first came into ER. Chris the Nurse was super nice and helpful. Thank you so much to Staff at Gardena Memorial. God bless you all."

"This hospital is the worse of the worse! My mom has been here for about 2 months and at 1st we got a complain from a nurse that was cleaning her and complained that she soiled again, my mom’s sickness doesn’t allow her to hold her poop and on top she’s getting meds for actually going to the restroom. How can they complain about being soiled. They also changed her room do to another problem, she was coughing bloody mucus and the staff didn’t cleaned the floor or the handles on the bed until my sister told them about the floor and dirty rails. She had a nurse named Karen on the 4th floor for December 31/ January 1 and she transmitted to vibe like she don’t care. We are trying to see if we make a complain report on her because when we left the hospital that night she was ok and the next day she’s in the ICU"

"Came here for treatment for my rash that had gotten real bad. Told them I’ve had it all my life and had a similar experience when I was younger so me and my parents know it’s a rash and nothing else. Benadryl and steroids helped heal up pretty fast but about 5days 4 nights go by and they still have me “undiagnosed” and wouldn’t just prescribe what clearly worked. I got out the hospital and go to Rite aid across the street just to find out the lady who prescribes medical can’t do her job. The pharmacy called the hospital to check what was meant to be prescribed to me and the hospital said that I wasn’t even a patient! The pharmacist had told the woman on the phone she was looking at my discharge papers, gave my patient number, and my doctors name and they still said I was never a patient. Days have gone by and I’m getting the ring around with calling the main doctor and calling the hospital about getting my prescription. Now the rash is slowly coming back cos someone couldn’t do their job. Wasted my time. I should’ve listened to the reviews but I was desperate. Doctor tried diagnosing through face time. Only positive thing are the nurses."
