Coach David is knowledgeable and will work with you in any way possible to gain your confidence and skill at the pace you need. At Cali Speed Boxing you learn practical boxing skills that can also translate into self defense if needed. Workouts are short compared to other classes but intense and give you a "run for your money". All students are friendly and this really is a family environment where it's easy to become friends with all who are involved with classes. Good motivation from both the instructor and the other people taking the class, which crests an awesome community of people who are there for each other. Great at teaching the fundamentals and basics for beginners, and continued training for more advanced people. "Over the 4+ years I’ve known and trained with coach David, he has helped build my strength and endurance, along with the practical fundamentals of boxing and kickboxing, that I can implement when sparring. The workout is incredible, the confidence I’ve gained leaves me with the feeling that I can protect myself and my family, if the need ever arises. Group classes are a blast (seriously, so much fun, awesome group of people!), and the 1 on 1 training/ sparring sessions have helped tremendously with my MMA training. I feel so much more confident in my fighting. It’s so much more than learning to throw a punch or land a kick and David has provided a positive environment to learn and grow in this sport."
