"The best place I've been yet. The people are so nice and the dance is very fun. Will definitely recommend to any one who wants to get started in dance and wants to improve there flexabilaty and dancing skills. Mrs. Rosemary (the founder) is trained professionally and danced in the Joffrey Ballet and the Boston Ballet. She will teach you absolutely everything you need to know and more about ballet. Mrs. Elizabeth (Mrs. Rosemary's daughter) Is now the owner and is also a very great ballet teacher. She is super funny and loves to involve the kids is everything. Brooke, Christy, and Amber are the daughters of Mrs. Elizabeth. They teach at the studio and are extremely kind and thoughtful. They give awesome tips and are great people tk be around. Mr.Nom-L is also super funny and playful he teaches very good hip-hop and musical theater. He enjoys hanging out with the kids and having fun with the dances he makes. Mrs. Jessie does tap, ballet, and lyrical. She is always very positive and kind. She is very playful and really an amazing person. Mr. Jonah does jazz lyrical and contemporary. He is extremely nice and a great dancer. His technique is great and teaches in a fun way. Mrs. Marija is very kind and loves to connect with the kids. She is always having fun with the kids and will push them is the right direction. Mrs. Katelyn is a very good dancer and is always playing fun music. She subs in for teachers who are absent and teaches a few classes. She is super kind and loves to di combos with the students. The staff are very nice and helpful. They will tell you everything you need to know and will warn you if soming is too high of a level for you. There is a homework area you can use for work or when you eat. The rooms verg is sizes. There are only three rooms A being the smallest and C being the largest. There is an area in the back where the dancers can set there bags and a changing room attached. They have racks for where you can put your bags. In the winter they have a Christmas performance and is the spring, a June gala. I have danced there since I was 2 years old and are still here today. I know all the teachers very well and love hanging out with them. If you need a place where you want to start dance or need a new place to go or any other reason, I would say Corona dance academy is the best place you will find."
"Rosemary McCarter is a very condescending person and she is extremely unprofessional when she speaks to clients and students. Not a serious place to cultivate your children's interest in ballet. It is probably cheaper than most places, but the students get yelled at a lot, and there is very little in terms of genuine care or quality teaching. I feel bad for the students because you can see how the poor management and the bad teachers make them truly unmotivated, killing whatever dazzle of excitement that young girls might have had when they first wanted to learn ballet. The senior citizen teacher should please retire and let young teachers with life and vitality teach contemporary ballet."
"Great school. Variety of dance classes offered at different levels. My daughter just finished her first year here and loves it. (Pre Ballet) I will be enrolling her in additional classes this year. Teachers are experienced and truly care about each child's performance level. They focus on technique while making the class fun and entertaining for young kids. We came from a studio that felt more like free play, so coming here was a big change. It's structured, technique focused, fun, friendly environment. It can be strict when it comes to being on time, but its expected. Its a commitment, so you have to follow the rules. The studio itself if really nice. The office staff is great as well. They have annual shows for Christmas and Spring (June). The Christmas show we were apart of was a little informal as it was held in the studio but they went all out setting up the stage. The bigger show in June (Spring Gala) was unforgettable. I would have not expected my 5 year old to be a part of such an amazing event. (All classes perform) It was held in the Fox Theater in Riverside. They had a photo shoot for each class a few months before the event. Pictures were pricey, costumes had to be bought, but it was so worth it."
"Great dance school that is easily one of the best in ballet in the Inland empire. This provides the foundation to learn other dances such as Jazz and Lyrical. They also have a top notch Hip Hop program, as well as offering Tap classes. FYI concerning the kidnapping of one of the posters daughters. When you have a recital with over 150 girls and you tell parents they can pick them up after the performance, you don't make exceptions for one parent without endangering all the girls. It can be crazy during the performance and you don't want some girls leaving in the middle. Every parent knows this before hand, and 99% can follow the rules. Lastly, the first class is always free, so try it for yourself. Get a tour, talk to other parents, don't listen to one person on google that felt rules didn't apply to them. Posted by Aubrey's Dad."
