"My son fences with them for years now. This is without a doubt the best fencing club with some of the finest coaches in the country with very positive vibes, the kids flourish here. The founder of the club Coach Margot Miller is one of the most decorated fencers in the country and also an institution by herself. Coach Carla Corbit doesn't only teach them to win, which their students always do, but she ensures the fencers excel in all facets of sportsmanship. Coach Sabrina runs some of the classes and also trains the fencers to improve their fitness and strength. Coach Karen is the best foil coach in Southern Califonia - they just swept the top prizes at the SoCal Scholastic League Team Foil tournament two weeks ago. They regularly bring in guest coaches like the three time world champion, former national coach for Epee and the USA Team Oympic training coach 2011-2015 Benoit Bouysett, 4 time Olympic Coach Yves Auriol and more coaches from France. It's a very family like atmosphere. If your child has ADHD or is autistic, they know how to work with them and bring out their best. The children who fence here are all top in their academics, and the club won the USA Fencing's All Academic Team award for the No. 1 Club in the country with the most fencers who maintained a certain level of grades."
"My son joined this club about three years ago and he still loves it! Coach Karen is so professional but nice to all kids!"
"Best new class for 2017. As a Brit who fenced at school in England I was happy to introduce it to my 5 year old American and her best friend. They in turn brought to more 5 year olds so we created our very own class “On Guard!””"
"This is very welcoming fencing facility- great for all ages/stages from beginners to adults. There are kids who are just starting out as well as kids who are competing nationally and internationally. The coaches are experienced, work with a variety of fencers including college level and in addition to teaching the basics of fencing also work diligently to instill a strong sense of community and good sportsmanship. The fencing coaches that work with middle and high school kids are focused on assisting kids to achieve their goals on the fencing strip as well as academically."
"Friendliest fencing club in LA, with excellent instruction and plenty of intense competition. Individual and group lessons available for reasonable fees. Club is busiest on weeknights between 6 and 8pm, and sometimes closes early."
