"My experience was beyond horrific. Besides misleading me with the idea I would be assessed by Dr. MacLeahmy, and substituting a CHILD BEHAVIORALIST who has zero inclination of the current Science facing GROWN ADULTS and ASD. Obviously Dr. Katz is NOT considerate of the Science and statistics that lend to suicide being the number one cause of death with un/misdiagnosed ASD. I am still waiting for a referral for an ADULT ASD ASSESSMENT from Dr. Katz… I find it particularly cruel that they take their time during the holidays when many of us are desperate for help/understanding of what is happening to them. Reckless Disregard at its best. Do NOT be assessed by Dr. Katz if you are a GROWN *SS ADULT, unless you want to be infantalized, mocked and disregarded entirely. EDIT: dr. Patrick MacLeahmy billed my insurance for a failed assessment with the child behavior list, knowing I’m a grown adult. After confronted with the situation, Dr. Patrick MacLeahmy has determined that it is ethical to bill my insurance for this assessment that never actually took place, therefore precluding me from having any other assessment billed through my insurance. I would never recommend this office and I am waiting now to find out how one goes about complaining to the governing body that regulates this office and these physicians. They merit full investigation. To think that people could find their way to this office and have the experience that I had, is beyond my comprehension. I will do whatever I have to do to make sure that it is known that this doctor his agents are not ethical."
