The Aikido of San Leandro dojo is one of those diamonds ok the ruff that really highlights what make it a great place to train as well as a supportive community of martial artists. Here are a few things that make this “the” place to learn Aikido: - The school. This place is amazing. A huge mat space and has a lot of art, features, and cultural connection to Japan and it’s linkage to it’s style of Aikido that really help bring you into the world of Aikido - The teacher. Patricia Hendricks sensei a great teacher and so passionate about Aikido, her lineage, and really guiding the students along the path. Her Aikido as well is very strong and with it’s traditional style you are lucky to train with such an accomplished teacher. - The people. Everyone is kind and you can see the lessons and the instructors have really taken to heart the true gift of the dojo which os the community. Aikido of San Leandro has all of these and over many years has woven them together into something special. There is even more to share from just a short time training and visiting this dojo, but will try to keep this review short.
