"Amazing team and community."
"Mike is a wonderful teacher and I really enjoyed the fencing experience. It was a lot of fun and much harder than I expected! I think it would be a great sport for any child, especially one that is more suited for an individual sport. I would highly recommend choosing this wonderful fencing location!"
"Our company went there for a team bonding outing. I think we all had a lot of fun. It was something new and different to try but I walked away appreciating a sport I never gave a second thought to before. The two gentleman who ran our two hour session made the experience both educational and entertaining. They engaged every member of our group and broke down the learning process making it both easy and fun to learn! 5 Stars for these guys!"
"The facilities are quite good: one of the best in the bay area without a doubt. The coaches are so and so, and you can tell from the quality of the fencers they produce. Management is also somewhat questionable. There are better places in the bay area for epee, foil and sabre. Decent fencers do show up though, so one can get good fencing. Also it should be added that the rest of the reviewers here are not exactly unbiased. This is not by any means a 5 star establishment. They are not exactly producing olympians or anything. (Edit as response: First of all, I have no intention of hurting anybody's reputation. If that were the case, I would have given you a 1 star review. Secondly, it is completely true that TFC has been plagued with internal issues and management problems in the past. As far as your coaches, I wish them the best. But I stand by what I said. Just go to askfred and check TFC's results, or go to the usfa site and see what kind of national results you have produced. I quickly checked the number of fencers you have in the national point rankings in epee, for example. It is 0. None for cadet, jr, or senior. So instead of paranoia about your "reputation", perhaps you can put some energy into the betterment of your club. 3 stars is a fair assessment. You were expecting 5? I suppose the NYAC would have to have 45 stars then. Let me know when your "elite" coaches start producing some decent results, and I'll update the review.)"
"We had a team building afternoon of fencing. It was a blast! So much fun and I want to go back now"
