"Back in the early 1990s, and as a comedy writer and performer, it tickled me that there was a gynecologist by the name of Beaver! A few years later, when I needed a gynecologist, I went in to see Dr. Beaver. She's extremely sharp, and said in her intellectual way that her name has raised a few eyebrows over the years, after I told her that her name made her a celebrity in my home! I have not lived in Los Angeles for some time, but I wanted to put this review in as I currently struggling with peri-menopause, and some scary, potentially very bad things, and while on Long lsland New York, I have found either the doctors to be extremely rude, their staffs to be rude, or both. It makes me really, really miss Doctor Beaver. Dr. Beaver is not only highly skilled, educated, and intelligent, but she has a wry sense of humor, is very understanding, she's totally non alarmist. Her staff is very professional, and friendly. You will feel at ease and well cared for in this office. it is very important to have not only a very good doctor who knows their stuff, but also that bedside manner, as women's health issues are very delicate, We are forgotten about in history books, we are barely recognized in medical research, and going to a female doctor that is so pro-women, and makes a female feel at ease is imperative in this crazy world we're living in.
