"DON’T TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM. This is my experience with this groomers. Hopefully they have improved their working conditions since I have been there but this place was a NIGHTMARE to work in. For one, they never officially hired me, I worked under the table!!!! SO SHADY. The kennels that held the dogs were unstable and very unsafe, the cleaning supplies were very old and I had to clean using bleach & water with no gloves for EVERYTHING. I got burns on my hands, cleaning urine with bleach releases bad fumes, I was screamed at in my face by Pam (the boss) to get on my hands & knees to clean, I was injured on the job when my arm scraped against a kennel, was underpaid for my hours (paid all in cash btw) and not to mention almost EVERY employee smokes e-cigs around the animals all day. Old, sick, puppy, etc. didn't matter they smoked all day everyday and would go to Lucky7 liquor store to buy more nicotine pens. They wouldn't smoke out in the front part where the owners come to pick up their pets, just the back areas. I stopped taking my dogs here as soon as I started working there! Ended up quitting the grooming job because it was such a bad place to work, and I felt so bad for the animals there. I worked here back in 2020 so hopefully things have improved but doubt it. PS: I have tried to mention this on the Nextdoor app but one of their employees (meagan) reported my post until it was taken down and deleted her unprofessional responses calling me a liar and saying I’m unstable! You can see for yourself how those kennels are very unsafe stacked on each other like that. As someone who is studying to become a Veterinarian, places like this break my heart but are so hard to change!"
