"Took my son today for his first free session to see if this something he wants to do. Sensei Jon, his adult student assistant, and the older kid students set a fun and challenging atmosphere. Rules of respect and conduct for the studio and the leadership are established immediately. Having the older kids lead the new kids, with adult feedback, gets the younger kids setup with peer role models right away. Lots of tips and encouragement were given. Session started and ended with a short meditation, which is great for their mental strength as well. Unsurprisingly, my son told me immediately at the end of the session that he wants to commit to Sensei Jon and the studio. I am looking forward to seeing my son grow into his new sport."
