"I had to create a new account to post this anonymously since I am still a patient at UCD. In all of my almost five decades of life on this earth and through all of the doctors I have ever seen, and I have seen some terrible doctors in my time, Dr. Nejad was the absolute worst. I would not even recommend her to my worst enemy because I truly do not hate anyone that much. She is rude, condescending, lacks empathy and compassion, has an enormous ego, and to top it off, acts like the patient is wasting her time. I had specifically sought her out based on reviews and I was so disappointed! A lot happened during the appointment to make me leave this review but I will give one specific example - the first thing she said, before even introducing herself, was “why are you here?” I cannot appropriately convey the condescending tone here. I told her why and the very next thing she said in the rudest tone was, “what do you want me to do about it?” Like I was wasting her time. It was disgusting. I was flabbergasted. I’ve never had a doctor I just met speak to me that way. I wish I could get my money and time back from this awful woman."

After a year of a cancer journey at UC Davis, My appointment with Dr Nejad made me want to leave UC Davis. She was incredibly arrogant, rude, and she has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen in my life! Do not go to this person! I hope nobody ever has to feel as disturbed as I did."
