"Please avoid Dr. Wilkinson and IGO if at all possible. She was my wife's primary OB during pregnancy and delivery and it changed our life completely for the worse. To this day my wife gets constant nightmares about Wilkinson's aggressive approach to her and pushy bedside manner. The labor and delivery went horribly, and now my wife is still dealing with the constant pain caused by it and we will need many years to heal her physical and mental trauma after having been treated by Dr. Wilkinson."
"I just read some recent reviews and wanted to add my own story. I highly don't recommend Wilkinson. She is very rude, bad bedside manners, and I felt she used racist language to me and did the bare minimum, enough to cover her legal requirements. I tried going to multiple lawyers for the medical negligence she caused during birth that lead to massive internal injuries for me. But unfortunately I suspect that she did not include everything in the medical records and protected herself. Highly recommend to stay far away from her."
"My wife and I had a horrible experience 3 years ago with Dr. Sarah Wilkinson, who was my wife's primary OBGYN for her pregnancy and delivery. To this day (3 years after the birth) my wife still has chronic joint and pelvic pain caused by the child birth as well as severe medical PTSD and birth trauma. We are terrified of having another child based on our experience. Dr. Wilkinson had a bullying and rude bedside manner during the pregnancy visits that made us very stressed out. During the induction delivery, she continuously requested to accelerate our induction and we had to constantly defend our birth plan from being changed (even some of the nurses supported us in advocating more for ourselves). The delivery resulted in a 3rd degree tear and major joint swelling that lasted for months. We did not recognize the extent of the damage done by the delivery until we received our official medical records years later. We received minimal guidance upon being discharged from the hospital on how to heal the tear and only ibuprofen to help with the extreme pain. Only a cursory mental health check was done during the postpartum visits at IGO. Dr. Wilkinson and the other OBGYNs at IGO did not refer my wife to a specialist despite her extreme joint swelling and developing PTSD. We are still dealing with the debilitating physical and mental health issues that started during delivery. We hope that nobody has to go through the same birth experience as us with Dr. Wilkinson and the IGO medical group"
"Dr. Wilkinson was great. She showed a clear understanding of my concerns and depth of knowledge about my conditions, all while being honest and straightforward mixed with a kind bedside manner. Beware the parking garage if you have a tall SUV - posted clearance is 76" and it has pipes and air vents throughout. Worked for our car but would not have if we had an actual roof rack. Staff was kind but current waiting area does not have any chairs designed for larger people. I'm hoping they might fix that. Otherwise the doctor was excellent and I'm hoping I can work with the parking and chairs for future visits."
"Scheduled an appointment as a new patient with Dr. Wilkinson. Earliest availability they had was about 2 months out. No worries, I understand why I’d have to wait so long, so I booked it. Weeks pass by and then I get a call that they need to reschedule me. I call back and they say they need to cancel my appointment and next availability they have is more than a month after my original date? I feel like this is incredibly unprofessional to go back on an appointment I had scheduled weeks previously. Weeks of my waiting time were wasted and now I need to start this new patient process alllll over again with a different doctor. Unprofessional- I don’t suggest wasting your time when they clearly don’t care about your time."
