"Apparently this veterinary office is in the habit of refusing service (very rudely I might add) if your pet is in pain and in danger. I understand that you need to keep appointments, but as a pet parent, if my dog is at the vet for a minor health checkup or to get nails clipped or something small, I would NOT MIND AT ALL if the vet had to step out for a few minutes to help a potentially dying animal. No vet who actually cared about animals would ever turn away a dog crying, yelping, and in pain. Instead, we were rudely turned away at the door. Thankfully, we were able to find another clinic willing to see our dog on short notice, and she received the life saving care she needed. This other clinic informed us that our baby would have definitely died within hours had we not sought out care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PETS HERE! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND NOT THE LIVES OF YOUR DOG OR CAT!!!!"
"I have had enough with this office. My dog was recently prescribed a medication that he takes daily. I needed to refill this medication so I called it in close to the 30 days. However, the Veterinarian that I saw is only in the office once per week and the Veterinarian's currently in the office were unwilling to speak with me regarding the medication let alone refill it. The only person I was being allowed to speak with was the front desk receptionist. My pet will now lapse on his medication for a handful of days and the Veterinarian's that were in the office were completely unwilling to speak with me regarding the possible symptoms I should watch for until the prescribing Veterinarian was back in office. This may just be my opinion, but I felt as though the office as a whole does not care about my pet. I felt as though I got locked into one Veterinarian and we are only cared about on Sunday's when she is in the office. We have seen other Veterinarian's in the office, but now it seems as though I am stuck only being able to speak with one since a medication was prescribed that the office would prefer she handle. This is not the first time I have had issues with this office. They require that your pet be seen every six months to speak with you about any follow-up issues over the phone (with my past Veterinarian's office as long as they were seen once a year and up to date on everything was up to date they wouldn't require a visit for follow-up questions). They also charge for items they consider a la carte, that have always been included with wellness visits in the past. For example, my dog has floppy ears. We clean them regularly, but were in for a six month wellness exam. I asked that anything they take from his ears be examined (because we were there and have had plenty of issues in the past). I was told that it would cost $31.95 above the exam price to examine the swabs from his ears under a microscope. I felt as though they were charging for everything they examined as well as the general exam itself. This is what I have gathered from MY PERSONAL experience here. If you don't treat your pet like they are your only child, aren't willing to bend over backwards to get them to way more appointments then I have myself with the doctor, and aren't willing to spend hundreds of dollars more on care then you would typically be comfortable with, then don't visit this office. I have had enough and will be switching my pets care to another office."
"Pacific Park Animal Hospital is my new go to veterinarian in South Orange County. Not only did they do a great job in my pets time of need, but they helped save her life. After being turned away by my veterinarian of 5.5 years during my pets emergency, Pacific Park came to the rescue and saw my dog, Bella, within 2 minutes of me walking through the door. Everyone that works there is amazing and they really show how much they care about your furry family members. I cannot give them enough praise, keep up the good work Pacific Park!!!"
"I've been going to Pacific Park since 1997, under different management, but always excellent staff and doctors. Three of my kids grew up with this organization from puppy to 15 - 17 years. I have a new kid now and wouldn't trust going anywhere else. We've had the best of care from puppy through the senior years three times and look forward to another healthy and happy life for our Hapa with the great care from Pacific Park."
"We had a great experience at Pacific Park Animal Hospital. Our vet there that saw our dog really cared about her and took the time to make sure she was okay even after we left. I would highly recommend anyone to use them for the care they need for their pets."
