"I have only had 2 experiences with this practice, but what I took away was not good. I am a trauma surgeon, so I understand how hospital consultations and office appointments work. This practice insists on performing telemedicine consults first before in-person appointments. This results in double charging for all visits, which feels grossly unethical. On our last and most recent visit, my family member was scheduled for a telehealth appointment. The doctor was over 10 min late prompting me to disconnect from the session. The office reached out asking me to log back on. I refused, stating the doctor should value our time as much as we value theirs. As a physician, the days of keeping patients waiting is long gone. The doctor didn't bother to reach out or apologize. Instead, they sent a certified letter terminating their relationship with us. I guess that is easier than taking responsibility for their tardiness."
