"Back in 2011 Dr. Kurtzman preformed a csection. I remember he had great bedside manners. Sadly, because of having a csection by him, it took over 10 years to figure out my pain since he and his staff kept ignoring my pain. So because of his sloppy csection, I've endured bad adhesions and nerve damage because he cut me too far to the left. And then he made my uterus stick to my abdominal wall from all the adhesions. My csection scar is so bad that it shows up on an MRI. Furthermore, he let me carry the baby transverse which caused me to have pelvic congestion syndrome. I've been in Chronic pain since 2011. So ladies, if you endure any low pelvic pain, then look into pelvic congestion syndrome, adhesions and nerve damage. None of these conditions show up on an MRI. So don't let anyone tell you that you have bounce back pain, or misdiagnose you with many other gyn conditions. And don't let any doctor ignore your pain. Dr. Kurtzman told me my pain was because that's where he ended the incision so scar tissue was building up. It took me this long to write a review because no one could figure out my pain till this year. And I only wanted to give true facts. I really hope no other woman endured a sloppy csection from Dr. Kurtzman."

"First and foremost, I would like to say that Dr. James Kurtzman is the BEST MFM who can do miracles. My fertility and pregnancy history is very complicated. I have lost many early pregnancies & also had a late term miscarriage prior to my son. My history included a diagnosis of cervical incompetence that led to my late term miscarriage in the past. My husband and I have been trying for a few years already and losing so many babies really took a toll on us. When we did a pre consultation with Dr. James before we transferred our baby via IVF, he gave us a game plan which gave us hope. His office staff were also 100% on top of our insurance coverage which helped us not stress about any of the financial aspect. On my 13th week of pregnancy, he performed a procedure where he put in a shirodkar cerclage on my cervix to prevent it from prematurely opening and preventing me from going into labor. During my late second trimester/early third trimester, I experienced Braxton hicks often and he put me on procardia to help calm down my uterus from contracting. All that Dr. Kurtzman did helped me reach 39 weeks with a healthy baby! I was actually induced as I never went into labor naturally even after my cerclage was removed at 36 weeks. I recommend D. Kurtzman to everyone who is struggling with a high risk pregnancy. He truly is a miracle worker! Just to add, he has the best bedside manner and all of his office staff are phenomenal."

"This is a long overdue appraisal of Dr. Kurtzman and his team. I began seeing Dr. Kurtzman during my high-risk pregnancy. As expected, I was worried and concerned about my pregnancy given my medical history. Having recently relocated to Orange County, I was also nervous about changing doctors and transferring my care. Dr. Kurtzman immediately put me at ease and handled my my care along with my baby's care with expertise, patience, and compassion. His team are also just as attentive, service-centric and compassionate. They are kind and compassionate people who genuinely seem to care about their patients and the child they carry. I was almost sad to "graduate" from Dr. Kurtzman‘s practice after my son was born. My son was born healthy and my delivery went seamlessly. I like to refer to it as my redemptive pregnancy.
