"I chose this dr because I was told Dr. Kojian retired I was so sad and devastated but went through akerman because he had delivered my sister and my nephew. I cant really speak on him because I never got a chance to see him it was always Stephanie who made it clear that she would be taking over for him if he is not able to make it to my delivery. I was accepting to her she offered condolences when my brother passed away and seemed understanding. Stephanie requested blood work from me and was completely off on how many weeks I was. The 2nd trimester blood work had to be done before 20 weeks when I returned to the drs After mourning my brothers untimely death I was already 20 weeks and 3 days. So what does that mean NO LAB WORK WAS DONE OR COULD BE DONE AT THAT POINT. So my next appointment a month later With the same ms. Stephanie was very different she walks in with a very irritated mean energy and not only was she extremely RUDE after telling her how sick I had been and still felt she Then accused me of smoking in a very mean tone because I smelt like tobacco I’m guessing (Im about 25 weeks so why would I ever) after telling her no if she’s smelling anything perhaps it’s their workers they hired to fix something that was smoking cigarettes by the door or MY BOYFRIENDS car that he smokes in BY HIMSELF never around me. You’d think she felt a bit DUMB for being so rude but she continues on. I then apologize for smelling like tobacco but it wasn’t my fault and she blows me off. I tell her I have been cramping so so bad and I go on to almost describe how I was feeling and she cuts me off and threatens to send me to the hospital because she didn’t have time. Now I am a mother of 2 already so if something could be done thereShe barely checked my daughters heart beat and never gave me my prenatal vitamins I requested. All in all it was a horrible appointment that left me in tears. I changed drs now and I am much much happier. I gave 2 starts because like I said I never got to actually meet Dr.akerman"

"6/17/2020 I went to my appointment today. After setting my next appointment I walked out and 20 seconds later walked back in to ask and use the restroom, being pregnant you know you gotta go again sometimes. The front receptionist gave me a key and said to use the one outside, so I went to go use the main one. I had to go downstairs cuz the upstairs one was out of order. Key wouldnt work, walked back up told her it didnt work. Asked her if I could use the one here since I just left, she ignored me. So I said fine I'll look for a restroom somewhere else she said ok. She was just super rude with her attitude. The doctors and other staff are great! But the front staff makes it horrible!!!"

"The doctors are great, love Sylvia. Sylvia is very welcoming and friendly. The only exception is that the front desk receptionist Mayra is really rude, she has the worst customer service. She doesn’t explain to you nor does she answer any questions you have on your appointments. Mayra also proceeds to try to argue with you. This is very unprofessional."
