"Dr. Allison Canavan listened intently, validated my concerns and experiences, and was personable, blunt, and clear. Though she is no longer with this office it should be noted how her, and her staff's, advocacy and coordination made a significant difference in my receiving timely care. Two instances stand out: First, during a routine check up, a need for further treatment was found. In spite of how busy the office was (I could see her, her staff, and other MDs constantly bustling with a slew of patients) she and her team worked to have my needs addressed that day. They divided and conquered. Dr. Canavan clearly, thoroughly, discussed my results and her assessments, reviewed all options to move forward and which would be recommended given my specific medical history/preferences, and calmly answered any questions I had. While I spoke with her, her staff simultaneously investigated the soonest I could safely receive care, reviewed my insurance coverage, and met with me to review the financial implications of each treatment option and openings. Overall, she and her staff ensured I could have the most information to make my decision and successfully coordinated for me to receive treatment same day. The second instance followed an emergency room visit. The ER team communicated with Dr. Canavan's team, who quickly reached out to me for follow up as Dr. Canavan escalated her concerns to colleagues and specialists. Due to their diligence and advocacy I was able to be seen and receive relief for my conditions months sooner than expected. I have never met a team as empathetic, knowledgeable, and tenacious in the care of their patients. I am grateful for Dr. Canavan and all the care team members in this office for making such a difference in my health."

"Worst experience at a Medical Facility. Nurses are very unprofessional. They billed me for blood but forgot to draw. The second appointment that I waited months for I waited 1 1/2 hours in the waiting room to be seen. If you have the option. Look for an alternative."

"Worst office and doctors ever. If you ever get them to answer the phone, then good luck getting an appointment. Even after being a long term patient through my first pregnancy. Incredibly rude and unprofessional, no empathy. Don’t bother!"

"Booked an appointment for 8:30am over the phone, received an email confirming that my appointment was at 8:30am. Got to office and they said it was at 11:20am, but I have work. I showed them my incorrect confirmation email and they didn’t really seem to care."

"I did not realize that this practice bills you BY THE MINUTE for how long you sit in the doctor's chair, rather than how long you actually receive care. I've never had a doctor bill this way. I sat in a gown for at least 20 minutes waiting for Dr. Canavan to see me. While it was no big deal to wait at the time, I didn't realize I was PAYING for each minute sitting there. Her patient care once she got into the room was great, her follow up was completely missing. I had test results done and she told me before we did the test that she'd never seen it cost patients more than $100. I got the test and was charged $400. She should not give insurance advice if she doesn't know actual costs. Then I never heard from her or anyone in her office again to tell me what the results actually meant. When I called to get clarity on my results, a nurse practitioner messaged me with a one off line saying "looks great no problem" providing no insight at all into 5 tests conducted. Not to mention that my IN-NETWORK insurance left me with close to a $1,000 bill. I would NOT recommend going to this office as they are clearly only concerned with making a dollar rather than true patient care. (They even charge for parking)."
