"I love the convenience of buying online, but there are times where you just have to go in to get what you need. I didn’t know it at the time but I needed some practical experience and advice. I have an epileptic cat. She was on a few medications that greatly reduced her seizures, but they made her sleep constantly and she would still have grand mal seizures about once a month. I had read about the ketogenic diet being the only solution for human beings that had epilepsy before medicines became available. So I thought why not try it for my cat? Of course, I looked online, but quickly figured out that I would need to buy small amounts of many low carb foods to find one that she would actually eat. This would be best done in a store. I visited stores in the area, consulting a list I had compiled and compared them to what each store carried. In addition to being epileptic, she was incredibly finicky and wouldn’t eat any of the foods I had bought. My next stop was to Centinela where I wandered the pet food aisle, list in hand. A woman who appeared to be training two colleagues, stopped and asked if she could help. She turned out to be the manager, Alex. I told Alex my situation, and she immediately distilled my options down by asking a few questions. I left with an armful of Weruva cat food. That was in February 2023. To my great relief, she liked most of the Weruva options. She had one seizure around this time and then none since. It’s been almost 9 months seizure free. What was seemingly second nature to Alex made a huge difference for us. No matter the job, we all can recognize people who are good at what they do and know their stuff. Alex knows her stuff, shared it with me and I’m forever grateful."

He offered excellent customer service, walking me to the several sections of the store, and he was very sweet to my nervous, little dog. He even recommended the grooming services on site, and helped me make shopping decisions based on my questions and needs.
