"We had a stillborn baby that was unfortunately delivered by Dr. Jacobs. Dr. Jacobs did not do a good job at caring for her patients nor someone who gives very good advice. After we found out our baby passed away and while my wife was heavy into her contractions, she asked if we wanted to go home to 'think about it' which shocked us since she gave birth an hour later without any induction. In addition, she was also 30 mins late and my wife was told to 'hold the baby in' while we had to wait for the doctor to come back to the hospital room to deliver, which is inexcusable. After the horrible delivery we witnessed and were told by Dr. Jacobs of many different observations about the birth (ex: cord tight around the neck) only to be told by our OB later that the Dr. Jacobs said the exact opposite to her! In addition, there multiple bone fractures to the baby in which the cause was determined to have come from the handling of the baby after delivery, which again is very inexcusable! I would not trust Dr. Jacobs to handle any baby or patient, please avoid at all costs. I only hope this review reaches other expecting parents and can avoid having to go through what we did with Dr. Jacobs."

"I went to Dr. Jacob to change my birth control to an IUD due to long term side effects of birth control pills. Dr. Jacob's services were disappointing and unethical: 1) Dr. Jacob did not inform me that most women need a ride home after an IUD insertion due to severe pain and dizziness. I waited for an hour for a family member, and had to leave my car at the doctor's office overnight. 2) Dr. Jacob was dishonest about the level of pain that comes with an IUD insertion, which was very severe. She also did not tell me that most women have severe cramping for several days, and I was unable to plan around work or graduate school. 3) When I explained to Dr Jacob that I was having bad side effects from taking birth control pills for 10 years, she completely ignored my concerns and told me all of the positives of birth control pills. 4) Dr Jacob did not give me any pain reliever prior to the procedure, and did not have a working heat pad to ease severe cramping post procedure."
