I have seen some bad reviews on here, don’t let this reviews scare you, He is great! To be completely honest he gets his job done and he does it very well, he makes sure my baby is good and healthy and at the end of the day, that’s all that really matters to me. "I wrote this review awhile back on yelp but felt the need to share elsewhere to help others avoid what I went through. If I could give this doctor an endless amount of negative stars, I would. The staff in the front are fine, but the doctor himself is horrible. I have yet to file an official complaint to the board because I've been busy, well, being a new mother but I'll start off here on yelp. I had the unfortunate opportunity of being sent to his office through tri city. He is the only OB-GYN connected with their pre-natal program as of now. If there wasn't issues with my paperwork, I would've chosen my own doctor and I wouldve saved myself time and tears. Yes, tears. At every visit, there was a wait. But the worse part was seeing him. He deserves an award for worst bedside manner. He was brief and never wanted to answer questions and when he rarely did, he replied with a rude and snide question. I was pregnant with my first baby, I'm going to have questions and concerns! He always left in a haste too. Jump forward to my very last appointment, in March 2014. I was in labor but I just started to contract the night before so I went in for my appointment anyway. When I finally got to be in the room, Dr. Minevich came in, checked me out and told me he would have me be induced at St Rose. I asked him a few reasonable and important questions about being in labor and inducing since I was contracting already. And all he did was yell at me for asking questions and then left by slamming the door all while I had no bottoms on. I was mortified. I quickly changed, went to the front and started to bawl my eyes out. The nurse office manager, whoever she was, made excuses for him saying, "everyone has a bad day" "sorry" but there is no excuse for the way I was treated. The rest of his staff stared at me and you could tell that they knew he was horrible. After that, I told myself that Dr. Minevich would never touch me again or my baby. Thankfully Mt. Eden took me in that same night and I had my baby delivered by another doctor. I was satisfied with a house doctor I never met over him. Dr Minevich will treat you like a dreaded house-chore. It makes me furious to know that he is able to practice. He defines unprofessional. And on a side note about his office, all of the cotton balls, covers for tools, etc. are kept out to dust. So he obviously doesn't care about sanitation either. ---- I'd like to add something else- - regardless if you were sent to his office through medi-cal, you do not deserve to be treated poorly. There is no good reasoning for sub-par services esp from a "doctor." His job is to deliver your baby, but the process matters too. A cut throat attitude about pregnancy care is NOT okay."
