"What a fantastic doctor. She truly cares about her patients. She remembers everything from previous talks/visits. And, most importantly, she made my visit really comfortable. Glad she is my doc."

"Dr Norrell is really funny! In fact all she does is crack jokes all through your appt. She also enjoys interrupting you to crack one of her special jokes to call your anatomy 8th grade level names in as many ways as possible and make puns that were clever when you were 13. Which is fine if your patient is nervous and you need to make her feel at ease and it’s cute for about a minute. It’s not cute when it’s constant as you’re trying in earnest to communicate with your adult doctor. If you dare to indicate that you would like a serious, medical conversation, she snaps at you and immediately disengages with helping you as a patient. On more than one occasion she has snapped as I spoke or asked a question. One time she ordered labs and I didn’t see any results after 10 days so I emailed her. She said “why are you asking me? Ask your primary care Dr”. These were tests ordered by Dr Norrell. I reminded her and she said “oh those”, you’re fine. I said that I would still like to see the results with her remarks, something every other Dr does, and she snapped “why don’t you ask Kaiser tech support instead of me?” I reminded her again that SHE ORDERED THE TESTS and SHE the Dr. needs to make comments on the labs. I have serious issues I want to discuss with her but I’ve found that I won’t even go to get care because I don’t want to be subject to her mood swings and lame comedy act. Every time I think about her I get a jolt of anxiety and further prevent my care. Hey Dr, your jokes are lame, you need to be a Dr, not an entertainer."

"I have nightmares of this doctor. I had the most traumatic and horrific experience 11 weeks ago while about to give birth. I was sent to labor and delivery for an induction immediately from my amazing obgyn who is actually her boss. I had blurred vision, headache and sudden high blood pressure. All signs of preeclampsia. After being prepped for induction Dr Norrel walked in for the first time and said she wanted to send me home. She verbally assaulted me numerous times in front of my doula during a very vulnerable and dangerous time. Luckily, she had no choice but to keep me admitted after speaking to my ob who is her boss. She is unprofessional and very mean with no bed side manner."

"i hesitated writing this review because i think dr norrell is a fairly nice person, however, as a doctor i think she leaves a bit to be desired. if youre looking for someone to quickly remove your iud.... shes the one for you! if youre looking for someone to remove your fibroids... GO ELSEWHERE! i had a myomectomy (or rather, what was supposed to be) in february by dr norrell. i spent $6,500. out of pocket for what shouldve been a fairly easy surgery. yes, surgery. i was put under.... for nothing! two days later dr norrell called to tell me that she did not remove my fibroids because she couldnt find them!! ummmmmmmmm, what???????? they were right there on the ultrasound! fast forward 6 months to now. my fibroids are out! i went to a different doctor who got them out easy as pie. so, yeah........ iud removal... got for it. fibroid removal.... NO!"
