"To begin...I am not a advocate of health care professionals being reviewed online. There are too many factors to consider, many of which are outside the provider's control. Doctors, who want to provide the best health care possible to clients and the client's families are up against insurance companies, high education costs, tremendous costs to keep their license, long hours, unreasonable expectations and government interference (just to list a few hot topics). With that said, I realize reviews are here to stay and can make or break a practice, especially a private practice. That leads to me to to the review of of Premier Ob-GYN Napa. As Napa locals know, there is a shortage of quality health care options. Practices are overwhelmed with an increasing population and a high cost of living. I am beyond grateful to have discovered Dr.Rebecca Levy. Dr. Levy is experienced. Intelligent. More up to date than I would expect of anyone. She offers a judgement free, educational, and judgement free approach. She actively listens, has thorough physical assessments and creates a plan of care that is reasonable and patient centered. A woman's health is not a simple system. Women want to have holistic health that can range from early years to later years, from menstruation, to family planning, sexual health, pregnancy, childbirth, pregnancy loss, and menopause. I would recommend Dr. Levy for all the above and more. As a military veteran. I have had many health providers in many parts of the world. This doctor is unmatched, truly one of the most respected and appreciated doctors I have received care from. I have learned so much about my 30 plus year old body. The staff at this location is diverse. I have not yet met the Nurse Practitioner, but our interactions via messaging and telephone have been in depth and left nothing wanting. I recommend you do your part as a patient. Take the best care of your self as possible. Be honest. Do not get defensive (I know it is hard to take accountability, are are only human). No one is perfect. If a medication does not sit well with you, or an option offered, talk it through. Do not be a "google doctor". My gratitude to this practice and to Dr. Levy. It is a difficult time to be in medicine. I am humbled and grateful for her amazing level of empathy, compassion, and brilliance. Dr. Levy is the best of the best. What a gem in Napa. The facility and staff are also a wonderful asset. If I move, I would consider flying in for my care and no, I am not wealthy, far from it."
