"I have been Dr. Mists' patient for about 1 year. She has always taken time to talk to me about any concerns I may have. Her staff is friendly and welcoming, whether in the office or by phone. The office is pleasing and makes one feel welcomed and comfortable. I have never waited more then 10 minutes for my appointment. I know there have been some negative reviews, but I have never experienced any difficulties,"

"Seeing all these 1-star reviews is shocking. Believe me I HATE HATE HATE the medical system but I’m happy with Dr. Mist & her staff. I’ve had many medical issues since my early teens. I’ve had procedures & treatments like crazy: 2 spine surgeries, nerve blocks, colonoscopy/endoscopy, EKGs, images of every kind (I fall asleep in the MRI tube every time. It’s like being in the womb again). Anyway, I’ve been chewed up by the medical world. Dr Mist accepted me after my previous dr dropped me for making a complaint to their HR. She’s kind, reasonable & her staff is so on top of things. These people deal with the medical world everyday including all the chaos of covid & telemed so maybe try to have a little grace? I’ve been irate at many medical professionals & ins companies but not at Mist. Yes, I got pushed to PAs for awhile but they were great too. Anyway, who would read this far into a review?! Haha! Dr Mist’s office isn’t perfect but they’re the best I’ve had."

"I have never been treated so rudely by a doctor’s office in all of my 63 years. I was dumped as a patient by the doctor’s husband Nigel Mist, who is apparently not only the gatekeeper and receptionist, but is also fully in charge of the office instead of the doctor. He accused me of not paying my bill which he admitted had only been mailed to me two days before! When I told him I would pay right away from my HSA, he became irate and launched into a tirade on how people swear they will pay their bills and they never do. He then lectured me on how doctors are struggling right now. He demanded I pay immediately with my charge card and when I told him I would pay right away with my HSA, he became even more irate and threatening. A week later I received a letter that I had been dumped as a patient with no explanation. The obvious conclusion is that the office of Heidi Mist does not care about their patients, but only their lust for the almighty dollar. I’m afraid the writing is on the wall for that office. They simply cannot treat people with such contempt and outrage and hope to remain in business."

"We have not been voted the Best Doctor in Tehama County for the past 8 years by accident. We simply will not put up with patients that are rude to the Doctor or staff, patients that are drug seeking, Facebook Physicians or patients that refuse to honor their financial responsibility. "General Information Dr. Heidi C. Mist reserves the right to refuse care to any patient at any time. Scheduled appointments must be maintained, or cancellation fees may be applied. Payment is due at time services are rendered. This is the first paragraph you see on there page and she means it. I Had to fill out an application as if I was appling for a job. My first visit I was seen by a PA. Even though I asked to been seen by an MD. She was very rude and told me that I most likely would not be accepted there as a patient because I had to many Diagnosis. I was over charged my co-pay by one hundred dollars. I explain my Co pay was $50.00 but the girl at the desk insisted I had to pay 150.00 and even after they billed my insurance I had to call them to get the money back. The biller stated she was waiting for me to call and ask for it back. Even though the wrote me a letter after my first visit and told me they would not accept me as a patient. This is not compassionate care at all. This Doctor does not care for her patients she is simply making money. If you are to sick she doesn't want to be bothered. Do your self a favor and move on."
