"Giving it 3 stars because food was average. I got the braised short rib loco moco. Short Rib: A bitty fatty and not enough meat for the dish. Gravy: Not really the type of gravy you would want. It was laking seasoning and thickness. The carrots and onions were TOO vinegary/sharp and did not balance well with the rest of dish."
"First review of 2024! Came to Snooze bright and early for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We wanted to make sure we beat the weekend rush so we arrived at 7am. Surprisingly there was only one other customer, I was half expecting there to be a decent amount of people wanting to try their breakfast since they opened not too long ago. I’ve been to the location in San Diego before and it was super packed there so I thought it would be the same here in OC. But we were seated right away so definitely no complaints there! There were a bunch of employees just standing around chatting with each other, it looked like they over scheduled. Either that or they really do get busy and we happened to come at the perfect time when no one was there. Either way, we got great service since our waiter had no other tables. He explained to us their pancake of the day which was basically a blueberry pancake. My husband ordered the spuds deluxe with sausage and cheese. I opted for their classic eggs Benedict. I remembered getting a Benedict trio from the SD location so I knew it was good from previous experience. The food did not disappoint! My sister and I got the same order and we were both happy with it. Their eggs were just the perfect amount of runny and the hollandaise sauce was tasty! Not too lemony. My husband said he liked his meal as well but would have enjoyed more cheese. Overall this is a great option for breakfast if you’re looking for one in the OC area. Make sure to arrive early if you want to beat the crowds!"
"The food overall was really good. I really liked the Bella Bella Benny and the sweet potato pancakes the most. However, the only complaint is the wait time. My party of 7 had to wait an extra 30 minutes from our estimated wait time which of course is just an estimate but was a little longer than we expected to wait. Also, the service was fine, but our server wasn't the most attentive and it did seem like a lot of the servers had a very chill mood and attitude and orders didn't seem super pressing. It took 10-15 minutes to get pineapple juice and a martini, but maybe it's just because it was a busy Saturday breakfast."
"Received an invite to the pre opening. Excited. Showed up at the reservation time and had a table within 10 minutes or arriving. The place was brightly colored. Clean restrooms. High chairs available. Loved the employee outfits. Our server Jenn was amazing. She took care of us, answered questions, checked on us, and stayed on top of everything. We ordered the Juan’s breakfast tacos and the OMG French Toast. Delicious. Also had two of the lemonades. I’d recommend the blackberry mint one. Will definitely come back."
"Finally got to try this place. Always avoided going to the other locations due to the long wait, but we came on a weekday which happened to be their Grand Opening day. Service was great. The decor reminds me of the Jetsons. It was bright and cheerful. Food: Pancake Flight- I love that they have an option to try 3 different pancakes. Though I love pumpkin, I didn't love theirs as maybe it was sweeter than the others. I liked the Pineapple and the Blueberry was decent. Benny Duo- I liked trying the 2 different eggs Benedict (Chile Verde and Pork Belly Habanero). They were each unique and flavorful. Overall, the food was good but a bit pricey and I probably wouldn't come here if there's a wait. For more at IG: @grace.loves.adventures"
