"Banh Mi is a Vietnamese sandwich originating in Saigon that is made up of single or a combination of meats – crusty bread split lengthwise (like a submarine sandwich roll) smeared with pate, mayo, pickled vegetables, green onion, coriander/cilantro, a mighty wack of fresh chillies and drizzle of seasoning. The pate is extremely popular as a Banh Mi filling and is often combined with other fillings. It can be made from pork, duck or chicken liver. I had the grilled pork Bahn Mi and it was delicious. Lots of flavors, pork was tender and well seasoned. Good size portion $6.50. Cash preferred and limited number on parking. rg-"
