"RUDE, ARROGANT, CONDESCENDING, AND INSULTING. Dr. Gordon, appears kind, talks smooth, yet, shoots daggers at the same time. Took my 80 yr old Mother at the request of her PCP to go over her MRI. She's been in severe pain, and barely walking for 2 weeks. Her MRI showed multiple reasons for her condition, yet he's quick to lump you in with the (quoted at) "roughly 25,000" patients who asked Dr. Gordon what he can do for them. He ranted on for about 10 minutes reciting a Q&A skit between his patients and himself. He repeatedly asked how faithful and disciplined they were with PT excersizes and counting calories to maintain a normal weight. In the end it appears ALL of them were "non compliant" patients who basically were the reasons they were suffering. Dr. Gordon looked directly at my 80 yr old Mother (not much overweight) and told her "I bet you have not done a sit up in over 35 years"!! In the end he ordered an epidural thankfully perfomed by another MD who apparently is very kind. During this appointment I was about to lose it and call him out on being so disrespectful. In the end my Mom stated if she had said anything it would go in her chart as a difficult patient, that could compromise future care. So in the end my Mom had to endure being accused, insulted, and talk to like a child to get some type of pain relief!!!"
