"Love the fact a can get my favorite bread here. I grew up in SF in the 60s. Nothing like a bread bowl of clam chowder siting by warf on a foggy day. And the Dungeness crab when I season. Makes me remember my youth and those great daze..."

"I went to the one off Fair Oaks and at this time no one was there. Normally the other times I have gone it's normally packed with a consistent crowd. It has been a while since I visited this store. For this time around I just got a bread bowl to go. I like their bread bowls. I got one to go and I asked if they could cut the bread bowl. He took my money and then went to go get one. I thought to myself I hope he changes gloves after handling money. But thankfully I saw the worker plop one pre wrapped in the bag. It was pre-cut. But I do hope in the future when he does handle any currency, that there will be no form of cross contamination. Other than that he greeted me graciously and was happy to take my order. But you decide if this place is for you!"

"In addition to my lunch, I ordered a pastry, a mini coffee cake. I was given a cellophane wrapped, half frozen brick that smelled like a smelly refrigerator. Ever since covid all Boudin's have really gone downhill."

"Bought a can of clam chowder, what a big disappointment. It is 90% cut potatoes, 5% of clams were so hard to chew and 5% cream. Feel sorry for people like me that trusts Boudin for its quality, will never buy again their famous chowder. I Like their sour bread."
