"Seen this spot just driving around gave it a shot. The pizza was really good, the last up front is really sweet they were also pretty quick too. Overall pretty awesome! Surprised they aren’t so busy in side"
"The crust was mealy and bland, seemed like it was made out of the same cheap flour saltine crackers are made from. Toppings were pretty fresh but not enough, too much bare crust. Disappointed and won't be returning."
"I remember having a lot of our pizza parties here when I played youth soccer that was over 25 years ago and they’re still in business for a reason I see. I came back and it’s still as good as I remember. Great pizza and great owners that care about the south Sacramento community"
"Decided to try out this "historic" spot yesterday 10/30/23. The reviews I read were 50/50. Unfortunately, my food experience was not so pleasant. Upon arrival, I noticed that the owner was outside smoking a cigarette and when he seen me pull up he hurried and walked inside. Inside there were what appeared to be "two regulars", not eating pizza though. They had a pitcher of beer and a glass of wine for the other patron. The inside is quite old and I let the owner know that I was a first timer. He proceeded to brag about his 35 years of doing pizza and how he can guarantee that I will be back. I was told that the wait would be about 20 minutes so I decided to multi-talk and go around to the food store. Upon my arrival back to pick up the pizza, low and behold the owner is back outside smoking his cigarettes. He immediately went inside to box my pizza (gosh, I hope he washed his hands, I could not make it in fast enough to prove it either way). He hands me the pizza and says "see you tomorrow"...Well, Sir/Owner I beg to differ. Your pizza skills must have fallen off in the last 35 years. The combination pizza I got was fully topped with that "fake sausage crumbles" everywhere!! The other toppings were hiding in the background, the mushrooms were practically non-existent and the black olives were abundant as well. The sauce lacked flavor, the cheese didn't pull at all, and the crust was burnt. Nope won't return to spend $30 bucks again. I will continue to just pull up to the Round Table like I should have in the first place. On a bright note, he was a friendly man so kudos on the customer service."
"Quiet little pizza diner. The building looks pretty old, but the pizza is strong here. I got a small pepperoni for $14 (tip included). It was thin and a bit greasy but delicious nonetheless. Try it out!"
