"We were visiting family in Shafter Ca and being from South Texas (30 minutes from Matamoros Mexico) we look for homemade and authentic tastes. Our first visit here was above grade in flavor. We enjoyed the tacos de asada and tacos de carne adobada ( basically Al pastor) with their salsa roja and delicious from beginning to end."
"Very delicious food and at a good price. First time here so I ordered three tacos each with different meats so I could taste the different meats. Left to right, tripas, buche and carnitas. My boy ordered the torta de lengua. He thought it was very delicious. The best thing is that you can see them chopping the meat for your tacos."
"Wow, authentic Mexican food. Very nice clean restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered the two carnitas tacos plate, comes with rice and beans. They are not shy about stuffing your tacos with meat. Carnitas was fresh and very tasty. Rice and beans were also very good. You have to get your food to go. They have several tables outside that you can sit and eat. We will be back!"
