"The crisis center help me a lot getting through my emotions and you can talk to somebody on the phone"
"Only doing this post because the driver just pulled out in front of me and several other cars. Causing us to slam on the brakes. Stopped traffic to let somebody else pass in the right lane that was held up by a construction vehicle. Dang near caused a four car pileup. She didn’t even wave or signal, nothing. the cops should arrest and cite her."
"really depends who you talk to. ive gone in person per order by my school and they have been really sweet, and TRIED to help. on the phone however it feels like they only care about two things. 1, your personal info. you know, name, age, zipcode, et. and 2, whether you want to hurt yourself. if you dont its goodbye. and if u do then you dont end up very helped either. either way, it seems as though putting you in a psych hospital is yhe only type of actual help they will give you"
"If I could rate ZERO stars? I would. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and also anxiety issues this past year. The anxiety stemmed from both of my fathers (my dad and stepdad) both passing away within two years of one another. One from cancer and the other COVID. It was traumatic to say the least. I usually called the Crisis center for help, and the ladies were all wonderful, usually, helped and assisted. A few days ago, I called and was having a full on panic attack, couldn’t breathe=think. The woman on the phone, said “quit yelling at me” and I honestly couldn’t even begin to understand how -she could take it personal? And that people, who call, are in crisis, and not being “rude”. I told her “are you joking? I need help! “ and she began raising her voice-to which I replied “how dare you play with my mental condition!” I was furious and couldn’t think, much less understand how this situation was even happening?! Crying- I said “I’m going call back and talk to your boss”-to which she replied “oh okay, go right ahead” -so I mustered what energy I had in me and attempted to talk to the manager, who could help me. When I called back-the same woman answered and said “oh? You’re calm now, aren’t ya?” I clean in disbelief! I told her -“I am trying to catch my breath and talk to someone who is in charge!” And she put me through to her neighbor -and she also would not let me speak to the manager. I have never been more disrespected, and in such an important time for mental health. I do NOT recommend this place for ANY help. My twin ended up calling on my behalf to which the manager said “I’ll talk to them” -that’s it. What happened if someone was in danger? Or a danger to themselves?? And they treated them that way??? Utterly disgusted of this place-poorly managed."
"Would like to know who operates or is in charge of intake workers, and how they respond to the people calling for help? To be told take a shower, get something to eat and take nap does not cut it in my book for help. Very poor assistance and will not recommend to anyone to call your services."
