"This was a terrible experience. I found Jodi to be extremely condescending and disrespectful. My husband and I had just went through some very traumatic medical events and Jodi did not respect our wishes to attend counseling together. Then she charged us for the entire 60 minutes, when 30 minutes of our session was going over her policies-- I think the respectful thing to do would have been to not charge us for the FULL session or to send all those policies out in the mail prior to the appointment. She is difficult to get a hold of. I would never recommend Life's Journey Counseling, LLC to anyone! I think the key components to a counselor need to be kindness and caring and to get a true understanding of the situation before one makes any recommendations-- we have not found this true with Life's Journey Counseling at all. In one 30 minute session, she was able to try to tell us what she thought was best without getting to the root of the problem. Terrible experience. I feel so disrespected and taken advantage of."
