"Absolutely do not recommend. Their online presence is borderline unusable with different portals for your ‘account’ and ‘payment center.’ Every phone call sounds like it’s coming through an old rotary phone that is 20,000 leagues under the sea. After a change in our financial situation, we had to stop auto payments for a vehicle loan (and switch to manual)— it took at least 5 calls, “secure messages”, and several months for us to get… nowhere. “Everything” they could see said the payment was stopped, yet once every two weeks the payment left our bank account. Getting the payment stopped through our bank took half the time our most recent call with UWCU took, and only our bank was able to actually accomplish something. We deeply regret the day we ever signed a loan with UWCU."

"We have been members for several years and have had savings, checking, auto loan and HELOC through them. Mobile banking is handy now that we don’t live near a branch. Staff is excellent and processes run smooth. We will always stay with UWCU for the majority of our financial needs."

"Absolutely horrible bank to work with. I have only been with them for one month for a vehicle loan and they have done nothing but screw me over. Taking double payments from my bank account and not refunding me. Asked for the payoff amount multiple times and each person on the phone gives a different number. My bank sent them the payoff amount then we get a call we still owe them $500 and there is nothing they can do because it was a verbal payoff agreement so they have no proof of what was said. Now I have to pay them $500 out of pocket to close my loan. Each person I have spoken with on the phone has no clue what they are talking about I’m placed on hold multiple times with still no solution. Not to mention when my bank sent them the pay off, they applied it as a payment, not a pay off. Absolutely ridiculous I have never had so many issues with a bank before."
