"I called for a appointment in early May to see Dr. Perlewitz about a severe back pain, they said the earliest I could get in was in mid October, when I arrived for my appointment I was told Dr. Perlewitz is not in today (it would have been nice to be notified that the doctor wasn’t in today) they rescheduled me again to see Dr Perlewitz, after I was in the exam room a PA comes in and again no Dr Perlewitz (again no notifications that the doctor is not in) it shouldn’t take over 5 months to see a PA . Again they scheduled me for mid December, to see Dr Perlewitz received a call to reschedule again this time for late January . When I call to talk to the scheduling department I’m always taking to a voicemail and they never return your call promptly, you have to keep calling back to see what’s going on. Very useless and un professional. I would like to say I heard Dr Perlewitz is one outstanding orthopedic doctor and I wished I could of seen him, but due to the Mickey Mouse scheduling department who doesn’t know how to pickup a phone like other offices do, I will look for another DR."

"Set up appointment with Dr. Perlewitz as he was recommended. Took a month out to get scheduled. Just drove an hour to that appointment and was told he was not available today and that someone was supposed to call me to reschedule. No apology. Simply handed me a card and told me to call to reschedule. They couldn't even be bothered to reschedule me. Not great patient service."

"I called for a appointment for 2nd opinion on having surgery on my spine. I had to wait 3 months to see this doctor. My appointment was on a Tuesday I called the Friday before appointment to confirm it. They said yes everything is confirmed. I drove 40 minutes to appointment. When I walked in and up to desk the girl said to me. Please stand in line. There was NO line but a sign. So I stood by the sign. She walks away from her reception desk I woman down the counter told be to step down to her I said I was there to see Dr. Perlewitz for my appointment. At that time she said he is not in today. No explanation just he is not in today. I said I have waited 3 long months to see him. She tells me I can cancel the appointment for day. YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! She states I can see his PA Nick. Well I was there but not happy at all. I will NEVER recommend this doctor."

"Couldn't have been happier with Dr. Perlewitz. Very personable and really friendly. His staff is very helpful and as accommodating as they can be. He seems to be extremely busy but I can understand why with how he treated me and my family with the utmost respect and care for my life and telling me surgery is the last option. He is a great doctor and would highly recommend going to him. Hopefully you don't because if you have to see him you are in a lot of pain."

"Dr Perlewitz is a fantastic surgeon, he takes his time to explain all options both surgical and nonsurgical. He treats you like a person not just a file number. He only has what is in his patients best interest. I have found him to be more than just a Dr, he truly cares about all aspects of your health, your life, and your family's life before and after treatment. Dr P has performed a very large and complex surgery on my lower spine and explained everything that me and my family could expect, he told me only what he could do and not do he did not make false promises or sugar coat anything. As for his staff, they to are very helpful,friendly and treat you with great respect. I have had nothing but good experiences with them, Kaitlin his office & surgical coordinator is an angel, she will do everything she can to help you from setting appotments to explaining what to expect to supporting you and your family while you are Dr P's care. Adam his physician assistant is the same way, he too take all the time you need, treats you like a person, explains and answers all your questions I am so confident in Dr P and his staff, he is now going to perform a very dedicate spinal neck surgery on me which he and his colleagues went over very carefully and came up with the safest way for me to get the best results. I would recommend Dr Perlewitz to anyone with absolutely no reservations, and I have. Mike Croft"
