Best Defense Armory & Range is a veteran-owned institution located at 95 8th Avenue Southwest in Forest Lake, Minnesota. Our team, led by Erik, is dedicated to serving those who have served us, and we take pride in actively supporting our fellow veterans at events across the state. Our newly constructed facility, equipped with industry-leading technology and a wide selection of products for sale or rent, rose from the ashes of a fire in 2018. We invite you to join us for our monthly Bibles and Bullets event, as well as to stay updated on our range events, membership offerings, and inventory updates. Our family-owned business welcomes you to visit and meet Erik's service dog, Delta, who is always on duty but may take a break for a belly rub with permission. "Went for the first time today and it was a wonderful experience! The owner let us use the big room free of charge because of our large group. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great place! Will be back if we are in the area again! Highly recommend!"
"Great place, excellent staff. Very knowledgeable, I've been going there for a few years now, FFL and target practice. (The pictures are outdated. Any pictures that show wood paneling don't exist anymore.) The range is excellent, though it could be better with more lanes. Fast turnaround for gunsmithing. Firearms available for purchase is lacking, but you can always order something you are looking for through them. Check it out it's worth it."
"I will be coming here for all my gun purchases. Cody and David were such an amazing help when I came to purchases my first pistol. They set me up with a bunch of popular pistols to test shoot and david even gave me some instruction to shoot the best i could. In the end when I made my decision on which one to pick they only charged me for the ammo I shot. When my gun came in a week later I shot another 150 rounds and they again just charged me for ammo. I gaurntee my next purchase will be through them and I will be frequenting their range to practice. 10/10"
"Called ahead to ask if I could practice with my duty belt and staff was very accommodating and welcomed me to come. Check in was simple and easy to complete via their iPad or scan a code on your phone. Clean range as well!"
