"In today's age of disposable everything, BIci Centro is a great place to recycle and keep your rig on the road. My old free cruiser needed a wheel rebuild due to breaking spokes. It was either buy a cheap one on amazon from China, or get the parts and rebuild. It took me a couple hours to re assemble with some help from YouTube, but with the help from Bici's helpful staff to get the right parts, i got it done and have a wheel im proud of. Great source for 2nd hand bikes and parts."
"Found the bike of my dreams at this shop, a 1971 vintage Raleigh international which just happened to fit me perfectly. While there I bought a seat bag for a extremely reasonable $5 from a box that had another sb and a frame mounted bag. Got home to Reseda and realized I should have bought the other 2, the green frame bag actually matched the bike. The folks at Bici Centro actually packed and mailed them to my house without having even received payment. Great crew, good vibe, would highly recommend!"
"I brought my bike in to repair and ending up fixing a whole assortment of issues I didn't know exist. Just bring it in and it's $5/hour to learn from the tech. Love the bike education concept and self-service with help. One of my favorite things about Santa Barbara is this bike community and how much resources they provide to the SB community. Keep it up!"
"I am reviewing based on customer service and pricing. They aren't very friendly. I went in search of a bike to donate to someone in need. Found one in reasonably good condition for $350. I looked it up and found the same one, new, on Amazon for 199.00 with free shipping. They wouldn't even bring it down $50 before i found the cheaper one and before we left, he slapped on a price of $420. The bike was overpriced to begin with and the next person was still going to pay more than they originally offered it for. Unfortunately for them they lost out on $300. I had to wait 2 days for shipping but saved $150 in the interim and the boy who needed the bike got a brand new one. Everything happens for a reason. I hear they are good for repairs though, i can't speak on that."
"This place is fantastic. For $5 an hour I rented a stand and tool box and received real expert help. No one else wanted to work on my classic mountain bike and now it shifts like brand new. Everyone is friendly and seems to have a real love for bicycling."
