"We had gone there to see a waterfall which was fairly small. As my 6 year old granddaughter aptly remarked, "We came all the way here to see this!" It was car week though and we saw a whole lot of Porches, a few Ferraris, one Bugatti, a couple of Lamborghinis and quite a few BMWs buzzing around. The route was nice and we did enjoy a nice meal in Carmel city en route to Big Sur. Scenic beauty but we couldn't watch the sunset because some 20 minutes before sunset it went and hid behind some clouds."

"Big Sur is one of those unique places to visit at almost any time of year. Vista point has a beautiful Overlook in which you can see the water the hills and the mountains and just the breathtaking views of this magical place. There are so many different places to stop along the road and take photographs. I took this photograph in the early morning and there is usually some mist that makes it look surreal."
