I learned a lot and the computer lab is open all weekdays , so I can practice layout. The teacher is knowledgeable and also available on site to help on all questions I have any time. "I took the 3D Computer Drafting with Solidworks class taught by Bill with assistance from Alan. Both instructors were knowledgeable, helpful, and approachable. From my experience, Bill and Alan sincerely care about the students learning how to use the software. The class sizes are small, so they can provide one on one instruction whenever needed. As a result of Bill's help and encouragement, I learned how to make a 3D model from a drawing, manage multiple configurations of a model, turn a model into a drawing, and make assemblies over the 12 week course. Spreading the course over 12 weeks is great because months later I can remember how to use the functions I learned in the course. In short, 3D modeling is an incredibly useful skill to have and Silicon Valley Polytechnic Institute is a great environment in which to learn SolidWorks."
