"Horrible lawyer! He doesn't work Fridays/Thursdays. Plus, no return calls, emails or texts sometimes for a month! This is a DV case (ex did jail time) from 2020, he made $90,000+/year. I paid DB an extra $200 to help me extend the permanent restraining order. 1st, he entered the wrong case #, 2nd, he had me restraining against myself! Luckily the clerk caught the errors. But then he wouldn't contact me at all. Found out during the court zoom meeting that he either didnt bother to mail it or if he did, he included the "proof of service" with the order! I haven't been able to work for 2 yrs & have depleted all savings. Having full hip replaced in 5 days. DB never secured me spouse support, & my ex has retired. + DB never filed QDRO. He allowed my ex to empty his 401k (after taxes $200k+). Was w/him for 18 yrs during which 401k (UAL) bottomed out after 9/11. So all money he gained while we were married. I was offered $37k. Donald "fought hard", got me $50k, which I only received $2k. Least he fronted that me a day early. That was 3 mnths ago. Meantime, balance mailed to me 06/08/22. Post office lost it. Ex told me too bad, in so many words. I have tried all this week to get Donald to contact me back I haven't heard from him. Even though he's cheap, you still won't get your money's worth!"

"Donald Bloom is a terrible attorney. His lack of communication and interest in my case cost me thousands of dollars in my divorce plus costing me spousal support that I’m entitled to. He would go months on end not responding to my emails and calls. Ignored judgment summons that could have saved my case. Now I’m stuck with sharing custody of my kids with a physically and verbally abusive ex husband (which my husband was arrested for during our marriage and Bloom never wanted to use that evidence in my case). Using the arrest and pictures of bruises on my body would have allowed me to gain more control in the divorce. He didn’t want to work that hard. All he did was agree to everything my ex husband’s lawyer proposed which was all in favor of him, but explained the terms differently to me. I lost so much because of this man. Now that I have a new attorney the judgement is clarified to me and was a terrible deal on my behalf. Unfortunately thanks to Bloom I missed all the opportunities to fight the judgment. My ex husband walks away Scott free with $400,000 and I walk away with nothing. This person needs to be reported to the bar immediately. Screwing with peoples lives is not ok."
