"My husband and I took the 7 day ASA 101-104 course with Mike as our instructor. Overall, we had a great experience! San Diego weather cannot be beat and we enjoyed Shelter Island restaurants and waterfront. As ASA students, we had access to the Kona Kai facilities including pool & spa during our stay (a great perk for folks not yet used to a boat's tight quarters!). Mike is an effective and encouraging instructor. For those looking for an informal, laid back approach that allows for lots of hands-on learning, you're in for a treat!
