"Where to begin. We moved out, finally! There is such a problem with box elder bugs, you will regret living here. They get into your apt through the cheaply made windows. Enjoy collecting dozens all day as you find them crawling on the walls. We just got our deposit back and they said we owe them over $700 for damages. Laughable! They claim they need to replace the counter top which is ridiculous and was in perfect condition when we left it. These places look nice but couldn't be more cheaply made. I will end with the fact that they were on their FOURTH property manager by the end of our 12 month lease. Are you kidding me? The current one, Marie Frey, will not be there long. What a joke, so glad I'm gone. Take pictures/video when you leave!!!!! I wanted to do this, didn't, and now regret it because I won't be able to take action without them. Plenty of places to live, this is not one."

"Was told that maintenance would replace a burnout out microwave later that day but took 2 weeks and multiple calls to get it finally replaced. Said they had one in stock on day 1, were not waiting delivery, just very slow to respond. Fast forward, the main door alarm has been going off every couple of days and echos through my apartment. It takes hours to come shut off during the week and on weekends has been all day. Had to contact non-emergency fire department twice since their emergency maintenance line stopped accepting calls over the weekend. This alarm has been going on for about a month and a half, every couple days or daily sometimes. It chirps every 2-3 seconds which is very annoying and was told they don't know when it will be fixed. Management here is very unreliable. Do not recommend living here!"

"I lived in this place for 3 years the apartments are beautiful but lack of staff and respect. The management is very bad and the office manger Whitney pulver is very inexperienced doesn’t know how to communicate with people I finally decided to buy a house and moved out of there. When I did my closing on my new house I had 5months remaining on my lease I came told them to work with me i offer to pay 2 full months in advance just to move out she refused that so I brought someone to sublet she made it very difficult for that person to take over the apartment instead she offered that person a new apartment . So they made me pay 5 full months rents for a vacant apartment. Last but not least after paying for 5 months rent the came up with charges for over $1000 they kept my security deposits and still have outstanding balance of $864 I don’t recommend anyone to rent from this place because is a trap they make it very hard for people move out. Worst management company i ever dealt with"

"Not sure why the ratings are low. After graduating college (a year ago), I thought it would be hard being able to rent an apartment without starting my job yet but the leasing office worked with me and were very patient. The apartments are beautiful and in such a nice area. I never had any issues with neighbors or anything like that. Everything is well taken care of and up to date. Actually a little sad that I’m moving, really did love living here. Everything is also so close!"

"I was a little worried about the reviews but wanted to check out the location because the prices and features (underground parking included with studio!!) were considerably better than any other apartment in the greater Madison area. Ultimately, I'm so glad that I chose Autumn Creek Apartments over the others. Both Kevin and Whitney made the leasing process and move-in a breeze. Upon move-in I had an immaculately clean apartment. In addition to the cleanliness, there was a hand written card welcoming me to my new residence...I thought that was a really nice touch :) The maintenance team is great as well...I had a small issue that I had put in a maintenance request after hours for. The very next morning, a member of the maintenance team came and fixed the problem---for a fairly large complex, this is excellent service! Being in the military, I've rented at several other places. That said, I can confidently say that this is hands-down the best renting experience I've had..especially given the price, wow! Great job Autumn Creek team!"
