Reviews
"Although my partner and I ultimately did not rent an apartment at Factory District (we settled on a rental house instead), we had such a positive experience touring the property and applying that I felt compelled to write a review. Apart from the great location, amenities (fenced-in dog track is awesome), spacious floorplans, and overall great value (which is the best of all the apartment complexes we toured), we were also impressed/appreciative of the prompt communication and professionalism from management (Kelsey is awesome!). Would strongly encourage anyone seeking a great apartment to give Factory District a serious look."
"I can't say enough good things about the Factory District, and the McGrath team in general. We have lived in quite a few apartment complexes, with a wide array of management companies, and none come close to our experience here. The building is great, the apartments are excellent, and for the first time in our leasing history it feels like the management company is actually on our side and wants the best for us. Can't recommend them highly enough. Also, really fantastic location."
"We love it here. The climate controlled parking, location, concrete flooring, and space is all great. Having said that, there are definitely some issues. Not sure the layouts are really designed for the best use of space and the courtyard is pretty weird. PROS: Location, polished concrete floors, walls pre-painted with nice, muted tones, great maintenance person, spacious CONS: The cabinets in the kitchen had handles on them that were so sharp, I have 5 scars on my legs already and my kids have hurt themselves numerous times just walking through the kitchen so the handles they went with are awful. We were able to get them switched out thankfully. The cabinets LOOK nice. But they are *really* cheap. Fixtures like towels racks all LOOK nice and modern but they are also cheap and you can tell once you touch them. The cabinets are all MDF and the "finish" or stain comes off at the touch. Any water droplets on the inside of the bottoms of the drawers and cabinets have already created some bubbling water damage spots and we've only been here a few months. These same cabinets are in the bathrooms. With moisture and humidity. They aren't going to last a year without being affected by it. The doors in our place are sliding and we have a bunch and they are really great to have but the door is in the center of the glass but we have vertical blinds so we have to open the blinds 3/4 of the way to open the door. Sounds weird but it's just a lot of little poor planning things. They aren't so bad that they outweigh everything else but as soon as we moved in, I knew these items wouldn't stand up to average living. We really needed to live in this area and in an apartment so it's good for that. I'm just not looking forward to watching these features fall apart."
