"Although We don't rent here I'm rating one star, because they have terrible communication. We have been on and off for the last few months leaving voice-mail and calling this place office. NO CALL BACK NO RESPOND TO OUR VOICE MAILS ETC! We're actually really glad to see this off the bat, saved us from making the mistake of renting here and dealing with this as a tenant."

"Pros: Garage, Private entrance, larger floorplan, cheaper price point, near bus line. Cons: Unit gross upon arrival, outdated unit & appliances, bugs/spiders almost year-round, mice, bad plowing job during snowy season, sometimes the area seems sketchy, management isn’t always helpful. We really wanted to like this place because it SEEMED to have so much promise. It seemed like we were upgrading by moving to the Forest Run Apartments but we were wrong. We're not sure if we just had a bad unit or all of them were like what we experienced. Management seems friendly but sometimes were just not very helpful. Also management says they never enter your apartment without notice unless its an emergency but they entered our apartment without notifying us and left us a work order note that we didn't ask for. We complained and they said they accidentally went to the wrong apartment. Our biggest mistake was only looking at the model above the leasing office, which is pretty nice. We assumed our apartment would look as nice & clean as the model. On move in day we were disappointed. The ceiling fans were dusty, there were spider webs in closets & stairs, dead bugs in the showers, drains, sinks, & windowsills. Carpets weren't vacuumed. In the master bathtub, there was a bathtub bar that was partly shattered. Lightbulbs throughout were dead. They switched lightbulbs & removed the shattered bar in the shower but we had to clean all the dead bugs, dust & spiderwebs. It was pretty gross. Management didn’t make any effort to clean it. We moved in around April & we noticed so many bugs in the apartment. We stopped opening windows & doors (except garage door) & still we had so many bugs. We would see bugs almost every day, mostly slug looking bugs (maybe silverfish) on the walls & ceilings, with some beetles & spiders. We asked management to help & they said they sent someone to spray areas but nothing ever got better. We kept asking management for help & all they said was that “having bugs was normal” & that “many of their apartment complexes were struggling with bugs because it is spring & that’s what happens”. We continued to have bugs & spiders year round. In summer, there was a plant outside our front door that was dying. Flies swarmed around it & they would get into our apartment through the garage or front entrance. We asked management for help & they responded, “this is normal as flies pollenate the plant”. We were pretty upset at this answer. However, about a week later, we came home one day & noticed the plant was completely chopped down. They didn’t mention it or anything, but I guess those flies didn’t pollenate the plant after all & they chopped it down while we weren’t home. In November, we had a mouse problem. At this point I was ready to pack up & leave but unfortunately we signed a yearlong lease. I had never had mice in any other place (& still don't in our new place). There were holes in the kitchen, under the dishwasher & in bottom drawers where we think the mice had been coming in & out of. We told Management & they sent someone to put steel wool in the holes. A day or so after, the mice escaped again & we saw them scurrying on the floors. It was and awful & gross sight. Management said they would send an exterminator to “lay down traps”. We didn’t see anything except a note saying they were here. We went out & bought our own mouse traps. 2 of our traps caught mice & we threw them away. After that, the mice issued ended. Thank god. Neighbors: One of our packages was accidentally delivered to the wrong address but the delivery info showed us where it was delivered. The neighbor ignored us when we knocked at their door, opened our package and held it for 4-5 days before giving it back after we asked management to get it back. Another neighbor hit my mother's car and tried to tell us to "let him go" because the "damage wasn't bad". We didn't let him go until the police came. He had no insurance and was ticketed by the police. My mother ended up paying $1000+ to fix the damages. We moved out as soon as we could."

"My husband and I just signed our 5th lease and absolutely love it here. The management is fantastic. The neighborhood is great. The maintenance and grounds keeping is fantastic as well. They respond in a very timely manner with any concerns whether small or big and there have only been a few in the years we have been here. We look forward to many more years here making Forest Run our home."
