"I lived at the River Bend Apartments for 2 years. It is a good location, very quiet and overall a great place to live. The management team including the business manager (Beth) and maintenance staff are great people and a pleasure to work with! Anyone looking for a well-priced single bedroom apartment I would highly recommend the River Bend Apartments!"
"I moved to River Bend back in April and it's been such a great experience living there so far, it's quiet, private, and pet-friendly. And if you are outdoorsy, the Arboretum is literally right next door. Beth, the property manager, is wonderful and super involved with everything that is going on with the property and she does a great job of notifying through email if any type of work or maintenance is being done so there's no surprises. River Bend is in a great location where you don't have to worry about the city commotion but close enough that you can get to the downtown area in about 10-15 minutes. They have convenient amenities that come included when living there such as the pool, gym, and underground parking. They also offer an option to rent a storage unit if you need one. They have a convenient app that you can pay rent and request maintenance which has saved me so much time and hassle, any time I've ever had any issues I know that maintenance will resolve them that same day or the following day. If you're debating on moving there or not, do it. The price for what you get in comparison to other apartment complexes here in Madison are unmatched, River Bend is a hidden treasure and I'm so happy to live there."
"I have lived here for nearly 3 years now, and I'm happy to call these apartments home. This complex is a hidden oasis, a sanctuary for the tenants. The pool is a lovely getaway for the hot summer days, and when winter strikes, heat is paid for, so you can curl up in warmth! The location is perfect, just off the beltline, so zipping across town is no problem. You wouldn't know it from the thick walls that keep the traffic noise out of your home! My favorite amenity, though, is the in-unit washer and dryer. The staff has been very friendly and accommodating the entire time I've lived here. The property manager and maintenance crew do everything they can to make you feel welcome and safe. The pricing for the apartments is also very competitive. I would highly recommend these apartments to everyone!"
"I've lived at River Bend apartments for 4 months and have been extremely pleased with both my apartment and management and maintenance. The apartment is gorgeous and gets lots of sun. The kitchen is completely remodeled and every appliance is in great shape. The grounds and landscaping are always beautifully maintained and the accommodations area the pool area are amazing! Lots of nice, newer loungers and even a hanging swing chair. The property is tucked up against the arboretum which gives the whole place a nice earthy, peaceful feel. The storage units are sizeable and the basement area is very well maintained. Beth, the property manager, is always quick to respond to emails and voice messages and is very down to earth and friendly! She prioritizes the residents experiences and I always enjoy running into her because she is so genuine and she seems to know every one of the residents by their first name! Randy and Nate in maintenance are completely amazing! They always respond quickly and have a wealth of knowledge and experience between the two of them. On the 4th of July, a Saturday, the water heater broke and Randy was out to the property in less than an hour. Two hours later, a truck came rolling up with a brand new water heater on the bed and it was installed before I ever left to enjoy the holiday! Both men are very quick, thorough, and professional. I have had a very positive experience here at River Bend apartments so far and I look forward to spending many more years here!"
"River Bend Apartments is hugged on two sides by the UW Arboretum, making it a little nature nook just off the Beltline. I lived here for over 7 years and enjoyed being surrounded by trees in a secluded apartment complex, only a 15 minute car ride from my downtown job. There are plenty of birds, rabbits, squirrels, and chipmunks to see in passing, more critters if you take the time to look. The biggest reason I stayed at this complex for so long, besides the green space, was the management. Beth is a great property manager, incredibly responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. She keeps residents up to date with happenings around the complex, like upcoming repairs or upgrades and pool opening/closing, which I really appreciated. Maintenance folks were great too; they were timely, did a good job, and were respectful of me and my property. The apartment-specific features that made this place worth it to me were the in-unit washer and dryer, heat and water included, dishwasher, garbage disposal, new appliances, wall-AC unit, and eventually pets allowed. The apartment complex-specific features I enjoyed most were the decent-sized storage unit, plenty of parking spaces, well-maintained grounds, easy contactless package and food delivery, underground garage, and workout room. The pool looks great, but I didn't end up using it. I highly recommend considering River Bend Apartments; the price is reasonable for the amenities included. Factors of location: Living here you will get caught up in Beltline traffic from time to time. My best luck with cell phone reception was when I switched to 5G. Being a nature nook there will occasionally be bugs, but very manageable. There is no direct entrance to the UW Arboretum because UW stipulates no private entrances; if there were an entrance on the complex then it would be more public (no thanks). Garage needs some work and will likely be renovated soon. Only 2nd floor apartments (3, 4, 7, and 8) will have the balcony space; on the 1st floor (1, 2, 5, and 6) it's public walkway space - this matters less in lower trafficked areas."
