Prairie Ridge Apartments

"Loved these apartments, great location tucked into a wooded area with a lot of birds and nature in a very quiet and nice neighborhood. Trail that connects up to the Ice Age trail is right nearby so great for biking/running. Management was responsive with any issues we had and we didn't have many. Lived here 7+ years without much to complain about"

"I enjoyed living here. Great location and nice dog friendly apartments. Having wall units for heating and cooling in lofted apartments was very expensive and uneven temperatures. Management was very responsive."

"Just to name a few of the things I don't like about this place: Windows have gaps that allow bugs to come into your apartment, especially in fall when weather starts to get cold. After killing 20+ bugs for a couple days, decided to tap the windows. If you are living in the unit right above the garage door, be prepared to be waken up by the noise the door makes as it opens and closes every morning. Utilities cost over $100 in winter and I only have the AC running half of the day. That's for a studio."

"I've been living here a year and have never had a problem with the management, in fact they have always been very nice and accommodating. Yes, there are dogs that bark (although it's gotten better) and yes, there is one white car and a trailer thing that parks on the street for long periods of time, but not sure how management can do anything about that since it's on the street. Maybe I'm not looking to hard, but I don't see multiple abandoned or unsightly vehicles in the lot. I have never had a problem with my laundry, my A/C and heat work perfectly fine (although it is a hotel style unit that I'm not a huge fan of as it can be noisy) and the largest bill I've had was $50 (during the coldest winter month). Parking lot can fill up, but it's not really been an issue for me or my guests. The only negative I've had is the door buzzer. Either I don't really understand how to use it or mine doesn't work the best. When I press listen; I can't really hear the person and when I buzz someone in (having to push all three buttons in a row from some reason and not just the door button) I'm not sure if it is opening the front door or the side door, both, or neither depending on the day. Management has come try to fix it, but honestly doesn't seem like there is anything wrong with it. Again, may be user-error. Anyways, maybe I am easier to please than other people. Also I work from home, so I do spend a lot of time in this building and what the other comment says is not really what I've experienced."

"hmm seems like all the other reviews for this complex have disappeared... how odd... dont rent here! not worth the rising rent. tried to raise it on us twice so we left forward management sucks maintenance guy Andrew lies to his boss about things being completed barking dogs at all hours non pet friendly chemicals sprayed with no warning dryer lint vent is clogged so you wake up with blue buggers every morning. everything needed to be cleaned weekly or a lint film starts to build up . old and dirty ac system cannot cool loft apartment adequately and your electric bill skyrockets no enforcement of rules tenants and guests park car where ever and for as long as they want multiple abandon and unsightly vehicles never dealt with there is so much more this is just what i can think of off the top of my head"
