"Lived here 3 yrs. Must say the office staff is excellent: friendly,available and great problem solvers. Premises are clean and tidy both on the outside & inside. Amenities that are often not seen in other apt buildings. Car wash,EV charging and self service dog spa. Appreciate that the environment was friendly ie all age groups,well socialized pups , negligible crime and 15 miles plus of paved and groomed lake bluff trails . Easy access to 3 elevators all times. The crowning jewel is office staff headed by Becky: always smiling, saying hello,hosting events on regular basis and in general goes beyond any expectations. I post this with background of living in all the apt and condo complexes from 3900 to 4200 which left me with an off taste."

"I have lived at 4200 on the Lake since it opened in June 2021 and many times I have thought of writing a review, and today I’m doing it because quite frankly, I am just so grateful to live here and I want to give something back. Waking up by the lake for the past (almost) three years quite literally has changed my life for the better. It’s true what they say—water brings happiness and calm and I have never slept better. Literally every day, I appreciate and have so much gratitude for my view (picture attached). My neighbors are great, some of whom have become good friends. The building is beautiful, so clean, and the amenities cannot be topped. Swimming in the infinity pool lakeside, I truly feel like I’m on vacation. But I’m at home! The gym is so clean and convenient, there are no excuses to not work out. But my biggest praise is for the office staff. I call them the Dream Team, and I am not exaggerating. Becky, Mary, and Nicole are the ultimate professionals who respond promptly to any issues that may come up in this business of life. I feel so safe knowing that they are taking care of this building. When they say they care about their residents, they mean it! Because their actions prove it. I highly recommend 4200 to anyone looking for a wonderful place to live!"

"On the surface, it’s a beautiful property however these are the things we noticed when touring and reasons we won’t be renting here. Some of the kitchen drawers were squeaky and the blinds were so stiff it seemed they’d break if you actually twisted them closed. The pool is actually pretty tiny and I’d imagine that would create not a great experience in the hot months. On our way out to the pool we noticed a couple of walls on the building outside that were covered in cob webs and bugs. Not a huge deal however if you’re paying this premium then it should be clean. The view is very beautiful, but it seems the price of the apartments does not reflect their actual location. These are not near anything other than the oak leaf trail. These apartments should be around 10% less for the value in my opinion. Last but most definitely very important. When asked about noise issues/complaints we were told that it’s an apartment and that comes with noise. In my experience this statement is completely false. There are two reasons you have noise issues- one, the building wasn’t built right to begin with hence noise is way louder than should be for a luxury building or two, management isn’t willing to take responsibility and do what they legally can. Which can result in living with unreasonable amount of noise. This is not a chance we’re willing to take since having lived at places where noise was not an issue vs where it was. "I visited 42 Hundred a while ago and intended to leave a review then, but as one can imagine - life happens! I was reminded that I needed to do so after my wife received a call to follow up and see if we were still interested in a unit. 42 Hundred is an incredible property. My wife and I agreed that it seemed surreal, like this property is plucked out of a magazine and plopped in St. Francis. We have visited resorts with fewer amenities than this community. I would recommend that you visit and see it for yourself. You won't regret it! The staff is far superior to the other communities we recently visited. When we called, they answered. When we stopped in, we were greeted and offered a drink. When the tour was completed, they explained their application process in detail. The property was clean and well maintained. When its time for us to move, we will absolutely be moving to 42 Hundred."

"I moved to 4200 on the lake in the middle of December 2021! Although it was a very busy time of year for everyone, the staff were extremely helpful in getting me settled! The incredible view and amenities are undeniable but the staff are equally amazing! Becky, Dusty, Mary, Jason and Alex address questions and requests as they are presented! I highly recommend choosing 4200 on the lake as your home!"
