"My story before getting to Recording Connection was like many people. working the 9-5 and not feeling connected with my passions and my life goals. I had graduated already with my bachelor’s degree and always wanted to work in the media industry but felt the business moved faster than my educated training allowed. What I wanted and needed was a more ‘real-world’ course structure that would open the doors to what the audio and media industry is really like. So on my way home from work one day, I was thinking of going back to school when I saw an ad on the train for Recording Connection with their phone number. Made a note with their info and decided to call to find out more about the program. I was completely blown away with how much everybody wanted to help and get me started on my career path. I was really looking for a good balance between the creative side and the business of audio broadcasting. I discovered though speaking with my mentors, that radio is more than mics, program applications, and audio levels. It’s a business and there is a formula on how to make it successful.
