"No respect for the customer's time, even if it means no additional funds will come to Patelco Credit Union. I have a small account here and on two occasions tried to bring a substantial amount of money to open a CD. The staff prefers to sit and have coffee and send me away because they want me to make an appointment in the future. Therefore, I took the money to Chase where they have provided me with great service, even if the interest they pay me is almost nothing. I do not see how Patelco in Castro Valley can stay in business with such poor customer service and staff without work ethic, as they prefer to have perennial breaks and send the customer away."
