I bought my car from Neftin Volkswagen (now renamed Volkswagen of Thousand Oaks) and will drive 52 miles roundtrip for servicing, though there are several dealerships nearby plus authorized VW repair shops. But Neftin is noticeably superior in their quality, attention, service, and care for my car. They are very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable -- I won't go anywhere else if I have a choice. Still a family-owned business where integrity, and honesty are key factors here. They also have an adjacent Neftin Mazda dealership and service department on the lot next door."

"-The online appointment scheduling is misleading. The appointment times that show up aren't correct. There was a 1:30pm only appointment available so I booked it. Then someone from the service department called me a few days before saying that I need to bring my car in first thing in the morning of my appointment day and he wasn't sure why the system works like this. He was very nice and friendly but it makes him have to put in more work to call. -The car was not washed after the appointment. To be honest, I can get an oil change anywhere but I liked the fact that Neftin used to wash the car. It was a nice touch. -When I came to pick up my car, they called for the car to be brought up for me. I waited outside and nobody came. I saw my car parked so I went back inside to get the key myself. The service person apologized and shook his head because they weren't bringing the cars out when called. Maybe they were understaffed that day? -I was also notified that I needed a new car battery soon and they quoted a very high price so I said no and will get the battery replaced somewhere else. -My service person, John Garcia was very friendly and apologetic. Thank goodness."
