"It's almost impossible to reach someone on the phone. I've walked into this place numerous times to find absolutely no one manning the ship. The times I have found an employee, they knew jack about what i wanted!! I imagine someone could walk out with just about anything, and even with cameras, with a mask on, they'd probably never get caught. Another time that left a sour taste in my mouth is when a guy literally charged me 20 bycks to WAY OVER tighten the lugs on my snare druml and taped some napkins to my batter head. That was pretty lame for sure."

"I don't know about the school or the music store, but the repair is hit and miss. I dropped two bass guitars off for repair. One was completed quickly and very much to my satisfaction. It just needed new strings, a setup and a new output jack. The other took more than a month to complete for a nut replacement. When it was complete the job was less than quoted, not because of how long it took, because the requested setup had not been performed. Again, I don't know about the school or the store, but repair is iffy. My suggestion to Janssen, allow contact between your outside repair guy and the customer. Communication with the person actually performing the repair through your store was less than reliable."

"We absolutely love it here! Dave Janssen's is a great place for music lessons, instrument repair, instrument rentals and much more. We've found the instructors to be very knowledgeable, have a positive attitude and great personalities. My daughter is learning guitar and piano, and is also in the band program. She has learned a great deal in just over a year, and she really enjoys coming to her lessons! I highly recommend this place if you or your child is interested in music!"

"This is a wonderful music school. My son has been studying cello for one year, and my daughter, guitar and viola, for three years. The teachers not only know their instruments but also know how to teach. I would recommend this school to anyone. The staff is always friendly and helpful."
